I was tasked with creating a new style of branding to advertise Influencer’s presence at Cannes Lions, the International Festival of Creativity. I explored a few different font options for the overall logo, initially introducing new fonts. However, I decided it should take reference from the original font, so I created a new type-face which took inspiration from art-deco styles, whilst using the same condensed letter spacings as the Influencer branding font. I also looked at ‘Vintage Minimalism’, a big design trend for 2024 to create the overall theme, mixing retro and minimalistic elements together to create a nice balance between old and new. I took the event location itself into consideration, going with a mainly blue and orange colour scheme to match this. The assets were used on all of the company social media channels to build up hype both before and during the event. In turn, generating more event sign ups and leads.
